Introduction
This is a comprehensive course setting out the important elements of photography for you to become a competent photographer. Photography is the art of painting with light and like any art form needs to be understood and practised to be mastered.

| This course is for a wide range of experience levels. If you are new to photography, want to see if it is for you, are an avid amateur photographer or you’re a hobbyist who wants to sharpen your skills or you want to go pro, then this course is for you. | Gear * NOTE: You don't need an expensive camera to take good pictures. Photography is not so much about the gear as it is about creativity and understanding your gear. You are welcome to make use of a compact camera in this course, as long as the camera allows for setting manual functions. Your camera gear depends on your skill level and requirements. This will also be discussed in the course. Other You will need access to a computer and internet connection to download your images from your camera and submit your assignments. |

Sessions are 1 to 2 hours each. You will be learning in a relaxed environment. There may be class format sessions with a group of students and some classes may be individual students. The session will consist of theory, questions, and answers, reviewing and discussing assignments. There are short practical assignments after most of the sections for you to practice on your own and then we discuss your work in the next session. A Practical session with me will be included at the end of the course for you to explore and learn in a photoshoot setup. |
